Motion picture luminaires
Cleararc ballasts have the ability to revolutionise the way we consider discharge luminaires in the future. Increased reliability and small size reduces the fear of failure associated with integrating conventional electronic ballasts into the luminaire. Now you simply carry one item, rig it and plug in a standard power cable – no expensive special head/ballast cable and no expensive separate ballast!

Moving luminaires
 Cleararc ballasts make the light engine system totally silent. No fans mean there is no fan noise – something very irritating in performance lighting using discharge lamps. Cleararc maintains lamp quality through and beyond rated life, making projected images look sharper for longer.

Industrial & scientific uses
Cleararc ballasts are small and low cost. Add the benefit of reduced de-vitrification, where the quality of the light output is maintained for longer. This is important in Endoscopic and UV Curing applications

Theatrical & Touring luminaires
Cleararc ballasts are small and run cool enough to be integrated into or mounted alongside luminaires. This means only one pieces of kit to rig or move to new venues. Costly or heavy ballasts and special head cables are eliminated. DMX can be accommodated and the ballast can respond fast enough for strobe effects too! Cleararc can drive Ultra Violet lamps used for special effects.

Studio luminaires
Cleararc ballasts make the luminaire totally silent, so no lamp sing or ballast fan noise – ideal when sound is being recorded. No extra space to be found for expensive ballasts.

Architectural luminaires
Cleararc ballasts prolong lamp quality. They can operate on power supply voltages worldwide without modification to make products universal. They can be dimmed to 50% for energy/lamp saving requirements.
